Dr. Elizabeth M. Louie opened Southern Tennessee Internal Medicine in Lynnville and has also made Lynnville home. She is dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of the men, women, and children ten years old and older in the community and surrounding area. Internal medicine physicians are equipped to handle the broad and comprehensive spectrum of illnesses that affect adults, and are recognized as experts in diagnosis and in the treatment of chronic illness, and in health promotion and disease prevention--they are not limited to one type of medical problem or organ system. Internal medicine specialists are equipped to deal with whatever problem a patient brings--no matter how common or rare, or how simple or complex. They are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and can handle severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time.

Our Team

Dr. Louie is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.  She obtained her medical degree in St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies and completed her internal medicine internship and residency from Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania.  She is board certified with the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. 

Prior to relocating to Lynnville, Dr. Louie worked in an employee health center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  In addition to this full time position she also ran a private outpatient house call practice.  She is medical director at The Center for Precious Minds facility in Boca Raton, Florida working with persons with disabilities in the area of assessing disabilities, abilities and interests with the goal of helping people obtain employment.
